Our series numbers are just a quick way to match bases & lids. Matching series numbers = matching products. e.g. Any 79 Series cup will fit any 79 Series lid

But how do we come to the specific series numbers? These are usually based on product width (e.g. 79 Series = 79mm rim, 185 Series = 185mm rim)

The term "recyclable" is often used to paint non-renewable & high carbon materials in a false eco-friendly light. "Recyclable" plastics that have come into contact with food (i.e. food & beverage packaging) present a contamination problem, and are most often not recycled at all.

Vegware only manufacture and supply compostable products. We do not (and will not) manufacture or supply any conventional "recyclable" plastics. We believe in products that are eco-friendly at all stages, not just when they meet their end!

All Vegware products are commercially compostable - this means they will break down entirely in under 12 weeks in an industrial composting facility. If organics / industrial compost collections are available this means your Vegware cup, lid, plate, fork & napkin can all be disposed of alongside your leftover chips.

Vegware's disposable catering supplies are all designed with same day / immediate foodservice in mind, not for long-term use. So we can't really say how our products perform in the freezer or microwave, as they haven't been designed or tested for it.

If you intend to use any Vegware products outside of the intended purpose, we always recommend requesting samples and testing their suitability for yourself. The samples are free - just let us know what you're after.

Any clear PLA items are not microwave safe.
